Oremex Closes Financing

Vancouver, B.C. - September 22, 2005: Oremex Resources Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has completed the sale of 1,400,000 units at a price of C$0.52 per unit to Golden Omega Fund LP. The Company has issued 1,400,000 commn shares and 700,000 non-transferable share purchase warrants, and each warrant is exercisable at C$0.65 per share for 18 months. All securities are subject to a four-month hold period, and the proceeds of $728,000 from the financing will be used for general working capital. A finder's fee consisting of 70,000 units was issued in connection with the financing.
