Oremex Begins Trading on the Frankfurt Exchange

Vancouver, B.C., April 29, 2004; Oremex Resources Inc. announced today that Oremex's shares have been included in the regulated Unofficial Market on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and are being traded on the trading floor effective April 20th, 2004 as well as on Xetra(r), the Deutsche Börse AG electronic trading system, www.deutscheboerse. com

Oremex also announces that it will be exhibiting at the upcoming New York Institutional Gold Conference 2004, booth #799, June 2 and 3, at the New York Marriott Marquis. Oremex's President and CEO, Mr. Dale Scholz will be attending the conference. www.iiconf.com
