Grants Stock Options

Vancouver, B.C. December 15, 2004: Oremex Resources Inc. (the "Company") announced the grant of 150,000 stock options under its incentive stock option plan. The options are exercisable at a price of $1.02 for a period of five years and any shares issued upon exercise of the options are subject to a hold period of four months from the date of grant.
